- Usage Data: To enforce our free usage limits, we store a count of your scans and the start date of the current week in your browser's local storage. This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- History Data: Recent scan results (including the image preview, translated text, and audio data) are stored on your device to provide the History feature. This data remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.
Use of Your Information
Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:
- Provide the core functionality of the App: OCR, translation, and text-to-speech.
- Monitor and enforce the weekly usage limit.
- Improve the functionality and user experience of the App.
Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. The image data you provide is shared with our third-party AI service provider (Google AI) for processing. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not share your usage or history data with any third party.
